The Role

The Market Analyst/Senior Market Analyst leads development of go-to-market playbooks at the front-end of our client engagements and leads client-facing market research projects. The role requires strong interview skills, a well-developed sense of market and competitive positioning and the ability to translate market positioning into actionable sales language.

Key elements of the Role:

  • Developing client-specific go-to-market playbooks from Winalytics existing playbook, including positioning & prospecting, 1st call execution, and deal momentum into closes
  • Using secondary market research, client document reviews, and client conversations to version playbooks for a client’s specific market, customer, and sales team needs
  • Completing initial set-up of client playbooks in a Winalytics software workflow
  • Leading development of a Winalytics client-facing market research projects, including development of survey strategy and survey instrument
  • Conducting survey interviews and recording notes in a format accessible to clients
  • Coding interview notes in Excel to identify trends and key results
  • Writing up results in short (3-5 page) reports and short (12-15 slide) presentations

What we’re looking for from you:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ in client facing market research roles
  • An ability to quickly synthesize reports, documents, and interviews into actionable outcomes
  • A track record of success in leading interview-based research project and research
  • The ability to model and deepen our Core Values (see next page)
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales team and ability to write in language accessible to these teams
  • Direct experience in revenue generating roles in either sales or marketing a plus
  • A Bachelor’s degree, MBA or Master’s highly desirable
